HISTORY

RA-LIN was established in Carrollton, Georgia in 1972. Our founder, Ray Fulford, knew at the outset, with limited capital and three people, he would have to build a company based on honesty and integrity. Mr. Fulford has provided remarkable construction and business expertise to sustain an impressive success and growth record.

In the early 80’s RA-LIN benefited from its hard-earned reputation and an improving economy. We began offering design/build services and became the single source for design and construction for many of our clients. Today, a substantial portion of RA-LIN’s business is generated from its design/build program.

As RA-LIN moved into the 90’s educational projects had become a major segment of our business. We realized that continued growth in school construction would require maintaining the same honesty and integrity to which RA-LIN had committed itself in the beginning as well as hiring experienced personnel and recruiting young men and women educated in the construction field. To reward and retain these valued employees, RA-LIN became an ESOP company in 1990; consequently each member of the RA-LIN team has a vested interest in delivering a successful project to our clients.

RA-LIN also knew there had to be a delivery method, other than design/bid/build, that would assure our ability to provide quality projects, on time and within budget for a growing list of public sector clients.

To maintain diversity and to be on the leading edge, in 1998 RA-LIN adopted a delivery method, Construction Management, allowing us to offer these same services to school system clients for the first time. Using Construction Management, a public or private Owner can select its contractor based on merit, take advantage of these pre-construction services, receive a guaranteed maximum price and then benefit from competitive bidding of all segments of the work performed on their projects.

RA-LIN has maintained a leadership role in a very competitive educational construction market due to the dedication, loyalty, effort, skills and training of its employees. By maintaining a consistent volume of work we have been able to maintain a core of well trained, experienced field personnel, many of who have been with the company for more than 10 years.

Our history gives us the experience and financial strength customers depend on throughout each project. We take pride in delivering solutions to countless architects and owners over the years. That pride shows in every building we've constructed, and reinforces our commitment to teamwork, strong relationships and construction integrity.
